Demet Suna worked at the Energy Economics Group (EEG) at Vienna University of Technology for more than seven years. Furthermore, she acted as international energy expert at United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) headquarters in Vienna between July 2013 and March 2014. Her major fields of research are sustainable energy systems, energy economics and energy policies with a focus on energy efficiency and renewable energy technologies.
Demet Suna studied electrical engineering (Power Engineering and Electrical Drives) at Yildiz Technical University in Istanbul and at Vienna University of Technology. She holds a PhD in energy economics at Vienna University of Technology.
