A major focus of e-think’s work is the analysis of the effects of energy policy instruments and the corresponding optimal design to meet future energy policy goals. The analyses encompass the effects of taxes, subsidies and standards for several end uses as well as the investigation of the efficiency and effectiveness of various promotion strategies for RES. Moreover, e-think analyzes the interactions between several instruments and extracts optimal policy portfolios from society’s point-of-view.
